Baking powder without aluminum

Never realized until today that there are two kinds of baking powder. The double acting one has no aluminum in it which is healthier for you. It should also let everything rise quicker. The taste is much better too in baking. Will be making cookies tomorrow will see how they come.

I switched over to the NON aluminum kind a few years ago.

Sure don't need more chemicals in our diets!

Didn't know that baking powder had aluminium in it, it's not listed on mine as anything that sounds like it could be, mine is a Wards brand and it's gluten free (not by need but just the brand I like)

I knew talcum powder had aluminium in it, as does Gaviscon (reflux liquid)
