Still Looking

Thank you SuziAnne. These links have already proven invaluable. I'm still looking for the program. I went to Office Max and Wal Mart yesterday but didn't have any luck. Today I will try Target's and Office Depot.

Yitlan, keep up the great work. I think that I'd downloaded Now Your Cooking but it was in DOS format and that was the part I didn't care for so I deleted it. I do hope that it's everything you've been looking for!

I have Now Youre Cooking...I am very pleased with it. Up gradees are free, so I'm always getting the latest edition. I can plan menus, make shopping lists, include pic with recipes. Check it out.

Question receipe printer

Hello to all. I have been trying to locate a program that would take the magnitude of receipes I have on file and be able to print them on a receipe card. I have asked at a couple stores, Best Buy and such, and all they say is there is probably one out there, somewhere. Anyone got any ideas? Enjoy the forums and will also be looking for the MasterCook for myself! :p

HURRY UP AND WAIT!!!

I've searched every single store that I even thought might carry MasterCook and even spent hours online looking for it. The new version will not be available through the new publisher until August so we'll just have to "hurry up and wait".

I do thank all of you for your wonderful replies and suggestions. You have been terrific!!!

My 'Now Youre Cooking' program allows me to print recipe cards. I can make as many 'cookbooks' to store my own recipes as I like.

This is a link to the main site:
http://www.ffts.com/

This is a list to the programs features:
http://www.ffts.com/features.htm

Im very pleased with the program. I have started to scan my favorite recipes from my multitude of bulky cook books into managable files. Using the same name as the book has and including only the recipes I use in that cookbook.

Importing is simple with an import screen thats color coded.

Lightbulb

I have MasterCook 5.0 and I love it for being able to store my own recipes (actually Mom's ;-) ). My kids know if they need a recipe they can go to the computer and print it out and not go thru all my paper files that are in chaos.

I found 1 copy of The Complete MasterCook 4.0 at Half.com for $25. There should be others out there. Maybe searching for discount software sellers??????

Love this forum!!!

chuckle Happy Birthday!

I am so excited for you! My birthday is Wednesday
Have lots of fun with it; I am loving mine. Be sure to check out the lists at yahoo (mastercook and master-cook are two I am using). They are full of recipes, plus there are some great sites that share recipes. Here are two:
