chuckle What's YOUR favorite vegetable?

What is YOUR favorite vegetable?

Mine is asparagus, then tomatoes!

What is YOUR least favorite vegetable?

Mine would be eggplant!

What vegetable has caught your attention, but you don't know how to prepare it?

Mine would be a leek.

I adore almost all fresh summer veggies. I'm not too big on peas, though. I will go out of my way for fresh brussells sprouts and asparagus.

I'm still getting used to summer veggies in February, though. I'm transplanted to SW FLA from Maryland, and it's kind of odd to eat fresh from the vine tomatoes for Valentines Day, and the yuccky cardboard ones in July.

I like discovering new to me veggies.

To really scre... er mess up a metaphor " I never met a vegetable I didn't like . . . " with appologies to Okie native Will Rogers.
If you salt eggplant and let some of the water drain then flour and fry it, you'll not have to worry about how bitter it is...

Guess my #1 vote would have to go to Broccoli (yep - the little green trees)

and my least fave would be hmmmm ..... oh yeah - CELERY ---- Eeeeeew!

I generally eat all veggie but only if steamed - for some reason I just cannot tolerate the taste of raw veggies. Hubby prefers them raw (pretty typical huh? always has to be different :p ) Tonight a friend of mine called and she had given a wedding shower for her brother and had TONS (I mean it when I say TONS too!) of veggies left over so she brought them to me and I plopped them in the steamer with some of that Seasoning that Ruby Tuesday's has and steamed them for a few and whooo hoooo they were YUMMY!!!!!!!

Let's have a veggie party!

My favorite veggie is broccoli and 2nd favorite is corn...on the cob though. I also like artichokes as long as someone else prepares them, they are a lot of work for the little bit of food you can get out of them...but I do find them yummy!

The veggie I dislike the most is brussell sprouts.

I love all kinds of veggies...except

beets. Yuck...I cannot eat those. My very favorite is asparagus, followed by musrooms, zucchini, tomatoes, potatoes...
