It does like warm weather so it grows well most of the year. The more you cut it the faster it grows. I am up to four trees now since we eat it every day. Yes you can eat the beans but we eat and like the leaves. Can be dried into a powder and used like a spice in a jar. It is loaded with vitamins & minerals for your health.

Benefits of Papaya for Healthy living



Papaya is my next favorite. Can use it as a vegetable too eating it green cooked in most meals. Having three trees gives me an endless supply as a fruit too.
