My dh never lets me forget the time when we were first married and I made tuna noodle casserole but forgot to put the tuna in. Every time he thought he was finding a piece of tuna it was a mushroom. We both looked at the counter and there was the unopened can of tuna still sitting there. Ooops!

LOL! My funny cooking story revolves around being pressed for time to get something pulled together for supper, and so with family waiting, I cut open the package of hamburger, dumped it into the pot, and turned the element on to start the browning process.

Almost immediately I noticed there was no sizzling coming from the pot, and upon checking, I found the ground beef sitting on top of that white plastic pad they pack meat in!

My first meatloaf was a disaster. It fell apart. Tasted good. My husband always says your meatloaf is actually a loaf now.
