We enjoy good fresh coffee... it has to start with a clean pot, fresh cold water ( we use filtered water because of the minerals in the water here), and really good coffee. We enjoy Community Coffee's Cafe Special. It's full flavored, aromatic and low acid. Everyone that tries it loves it. I send for it at times, because it's not always stocked in the supermarkets here.
I send it to my sister in Arizona, because she can't get it there, and, it's low acid. She has acid reflux and told me this has been the only coffee she's been able to drink without grabbing for an antiacid tablet.

We use a coffeepot that is a thermos, so that the brewed coffee doesn't sit on a hot plate. It sure makes a difference.

If you want an extra special treat, instead of milk in your coffee, try a scoop of a good Vanilla ice cream!

A good medium strength coffee brewed in an old-fashioned percolator pot!

Love to drink coffee at breakfast. Not too strong, perked on the stove in an old fashion percolator with a little sweetener, no cream.

My son and I disagree on the amount to put in for a 12 cup maker. He uses way too much I think and he thinks I use too little! lol how much do you put into yours?

I like strong coffee, D's likes very strong coffee and hubs likes weak coffee. My goal is to make coffee as good as a coffee shop. I only like coffee from a coffee shop or if I made it. Most of the time I don't make it good enough for me.

Count me in as well, as I too love the smell of coffee, even instant coffee, which is what my husband makes for himself in the morning. Hubby has even told me, he much prefers the taste of instant coffee over perked or coffee brewed in a coffee maker. Since my husband was born and raised on a farm and only had time to make instant coffee for himself (Nescafe of course), that's mainly what he drank all those years, so that explains why he prefers instant over the other.
