Brand Name Foods

Are there certain foods that you will only buy of a particular brand?
Which ones don't matter to you?

For me, it's Got to Be Skippy's peanut butter and Kraft mayo!!

I will eat any old canned vegies though, brand doesn't matter!! Canned peas, beets, spinach, creamed corn, saurkraut..I love them all!!

hugs,train

Peter Pan Peanut Butter, Blue Plate Mayo,

A-1 Steak Sauce, Bush's Homestyle Baked Beans

and Contatina Tomato Sauce.

Brands of canned or frozen veggies make no difference to
us either....except for Allen's brand of canned veggies.....
we DO NOT like them.......they all have a funny
twang/taste to them.

I agree on the Ketchup..I cant stand generic kinds! EW
I also DONT like generic PB. I will eat Skippy, PeterPan, Jiff, but I cant stand that generic kind

Also cheese--I dont care for the generics, they have that ioly taste to them

Mostly anything else I will eat whatever brands.

I am a big time name brand buyer. I have tried many no name brands and other brands but I always go back. We love Kraft peanut butter, Kraft miracle whip, Heinz ketchup, campells soups, green giant frozen veggies and canned, Kraft cheese products. I know there are others but those are the main ones

Heinz ketchup and either Kraft or Hellmanns mayo I am pretty picky about cause I won't eat it otherwise. I think most other stuff I will at least try the store brand in. I do like Campbells soup the best but have used the off brands a number of times.
Vegetables it usually doesn't matter to me cause all the brands taste about the same.

I am a die hard when it comes to Kraft Miracle Whip, Campbells soups and like some one else said don't care for Allen's canned goods. I also will only buy Scott's Toilet Paper, paper towels who cares lol? Like Deb I am sure there are other "only this brand" but can not think of them now.

brand name foods

Gotta have Kraft mac & cheese!! No generic there! I can eat can vegetables but dh & dd have decided they can tell the difference.
Also, I only use can "cream of" soups....you can tell the difference even in the consistency when they come out of the can!

I would say 98% of all my purchases are name brand, I have tried to many generic foods, and just didn't like them enough to stick with them. My real biggie is Best Foods, I grew up in the West and lived in the East for 11 years, and tried Hellman's which is the same company. But Hellman's is more eggy tasting and Best Foods is more salty. My mom used to send me Best Foods, I love the stuff no other brand will due, I won't eat Best Foods light though ICK. Now I am in the Northwest and can get Best Foods all I want. We also eat only Heinz ketchup, and name brand cookies. The kids are still young enough to eat cheap cookies and crackers so we substitute for them!
