Breakfast

You are welcome grits sounds like a good idea just dump some down in the "holes" or the gum.

My grandpa use to use the hubba bubba bubble gum. It was bigger and they would try to chew it. I felt sorry for the little critters. We got traps for them from the humane society and then took them to a animal refuge.

You girls are too funny!!!!

Breakfast here for me is usually corn flakes, special K, shredded wheat sprinkled with bran. In the winter I will sometimes have hot cereal(oatmeal, cream of wheat or red river). I love grapefruit with my breakfast!!! On the weekends I will make the kids pancakes. I used to skip breakfast but since I started to diet and change my eating habits I eat it everyday. They say it helps to boost your metabolism. If your body is hungry your metabolism will slow down and burn fewer calories.
Here in Canada I have never seen grits.......what do they look like???

Hugs
Debbie

A very humane thing to do theirmom

Anybody know, are the moles attracted to the "sweetness" in the gum?

Thanks for making me laugh today, all I can picture is little moles running around the yard chewing gum and blowing bubbles,LOL.
Ive started trying to eat breakfast, because if I dont I will overeat during the day and since Im trying to lose some weight I dont want to do that.I usually have either a bowl of Special K with skim milk or Cheerios no sugar, sometimes sweet and low.

Hugs Sandie

Debbie - I would say they look like little white grains of sand.

I love grits. I like them best with a little butter, salt, and pepper, but when I go to Austin and eat at Threadgill's (home cooking) I have garlic-cheese grits. They are out of this world.

Most of the week I have an egg and a piece of whole-grain toast for breakfast. I have found that when I have the protein that early in the day, it really helps get me going and I feel a lot better in the morning. Just so I don't have the cholesterol every day, though, I eat Cheerios with berries two or three times a week.
