Hi Meg!! So happy to see that you're going to join us again!!

How did you move go? Are you all settled in yet? I've come to the conclusion that I'll never completely unpack, lol!!

Its so easy to get sidetracked and go exploring instead of staying in the house all day. ---especially now that its getting warm and the sun is shining bright all day long!

Cindy, Thanks for pointing her in the right direction!!

Tami,

Mind if I asked where you moved to? I must have missed it somewhere. I didn't know you were moving until you were all ready in the new house.

Thanks for the welcome back ladies! Tami, no we have not settled yet! We moved in one day before the kids began school holidays, so we had two weeks to 'get organised'. We have moved about 1/2hr drive from our old place, and changed church and school too, so most of the time we have entertained friends among our cardboard boxes!!
C U soon
Meg

I have a suggestion. Is there a way for new, perspective SS's to get a notification that their application was received? I know that I didn't think mine was accepted and that maybe a computer problem happend, so I answered my questionaire twice.

Thanks

During the last week of the month or the 1st day of the new month, we will post a list of the new members for the club.

You will find this list in the main forum of the SS club. Usually 2 days after that, you will find a complete listing of members for that month, followed by your receiving your new SS name.

We ask that you check that list to make sure your name is on the list---even if we tell you that we got your info. This is a double check for us too since we do make mistakes sometimes and somehow skip a name that was on our lists.

I do like your idea of receiving an acknowledgement when a new member sends in their info! I think that both bar_bar and I can start doing this. ( This will probably start in Sept. as the new list has been posted).

New Suggestion...
When ever we get a new member to the SSClub...
Don't give her a name to send to but do let her know she'll be receiving. As the first month goes by she will be able to see how it all works.
What do you think?

Coll, I think that is a very good idea.

If there were a problem with it "messing up the count" I'm sure there might be some among us who'd be willing to take on an extra SS once in a while....I know I'd do it (not every month, but I would take my turn)

I too would take on an extra name once in a while.
I also think it would be a good idea for someone who has been in the SS Club for a while to be the one to sned to the new member.
