ISO of a crumb custard

I'm looking for a recipe for a crumb custard. It's made from leftover sweets, cookies, cakes, brownies doesn't really matter as long as it's a sweet then it's mixed with a kind of icing then baked. My Grammie used to make it but I can not find her recipe for it. It's a great way to get rid of left over sweets/ crumbs. Leftover sweets???? didn't know there was such a thing .
TIA
Otheila

Well I'm sure this is not what you are talking about, but it put me in mind of a recipe I have been meaning to try.

No baking and really easy. One of my customers at my job told me about it. Here goes.......

1 large box of instant vanilla pudding mix. (I suppose you could use any flavor actually. Well any favor that goes with bananas, right. I would probably use chocolate; looove chocolate!)
1 (8oz.) soft cream cheese, at room temp.
1 large can of sweetened condensed milk.
1 extra large cool whip.
2 large boxes of vanilla wafers cookies.(or in Otheila's case, you could use any left over cookie or cake crumbs)
10 large bananas

Prepare pudding, as to box, with mixer then set aside.

Next blend cream cheese in another bowl, add milk and blend well.

Add pudding to the cream cheese mixture and mix well.

Add Cool Whip. Fold in, but do not mix.

Layer a clear bowl preferabaly, with the cookies, either whole or crushed, then the sliced bananas, then the pudding mixture and begin with the cookies again and layer a couple of times.

Finish with sliced bananas on top. Chill for 2 hours.

This may require being put in more than one bowl if the one you've chosen is not big enough.

But by all means, try to use a clear one, as I said, because the layers make an attractive presentation, and we all know, presentation is everything!
