Strawberry Mousse
1 Lg. box strawberry jello
1 16oz. container sour cream 1 16oz. cool whip 1 16oz. container strawberries first wash strawberries, then let dry next slice about 6-8 strawberries for garnish then chop remaining strawbwerries into little pieces leave all strawberries on a paper towel to dry some more[they must be very dry] now, in a large trifle bowl put in the jello, then mix in the sour cream. next, add the cool whip. stir together with a spoon until all ingredients are mixed together evenly. now, add the chopped strawberries and stir. last, take your sliced strawberries and garnish. then set in refrigerator to chill and set at least 1 hr. Tip: I sometimes make this adding shaved chocolate as a garnish also. You can also substitute the jello with a Lg. box of jello brand instant chocolate pudding for chocolate mousse I also serve with extra cut up fruit for dipping, be creative as to what types of fruit you want for dipping. When i make the chocolate mousse my daughter takes pretzel rods and dips them, she says it tastes like chocolate covered pretzels. Another good idea is shortbread cookies. |
Tera sounds so good I am going to try both as I love strawberries and Choclate thanks

Hi again, I forgot to mention that the last time I made the chocolate I put a layer of cool whip on top and then sprinkled milk chocolate chips on top of that. Yummy!
