Sending Cards to Children's Hospitals

We have been exchanging Christmas ornies, cards, birthday cards, postcards etc. I thought about the kiddo's that are in St. Jude's Hospital, Shriners Hospitals, etc. that are fighting for their lives. Wouldn't it be nice to brighten their day with a card. This has already been approved by Amanda and ajrsmom.(thank you gals!) We probably can't get the children's names but, you could send a card addressed, to any child, what ever hospital you chose to send to . I live near St. Judes and Vanderbuilt Childrens burn unit and see so many down faces in the children and their parents. I just thought this would be something to give them a little boost where they are so sick.

Haley's grandmom, what a sweet idea! And something our children can help us with also.

Do you have the addresses to each place and/or a web link where we can visit?

Most major cities have children's hospitals...if you check your phone book you can get an address from there.

I was assuming that Haley's grandmom was suggesting that we send to our own local hospitals, not sending all to one place

Oh, Ok. Thanks, Barb, for clearing that up for me. I didn't even think of it that way. One of those DUH moments for me.

That is a wonderful idea Joyce. Also, I was thinking maybe we Aussies could send to USA and vicce versa. What a thrill for a child to geta card from overseas. Bless you for thinking of this.
