Preschoolers & Kindergartners What a fun time in life! Time to learn 123's and ABC's. At the same time, they're leaving that babyhood we'll miss so much!

I have noticed a few other things of concern with Pre-K and Kindergarten children, or their parents to be more precise.

If you have a really busy / hectic lifestyle please do your selves a favor and don't have children, They are not "little adults." Children need lots and lots of Patience to grow, learn, and develop into who they are. This is not criticizing parents who didn't originally have the hectic / busy schedules, but CHOOSE to have them - there really is a difference.

As one of my other "social" members (not FCM) posted on my FB page, "anyone can have a child and call themselves a parent. it's when you give up all your wants and desires for the child, that you become a parent." that doesn't many you give up your livelyhood, it means that you accept that Children require more than you should want them to need. They sleep, eat, play, and learn on a different level

Their bodies can not handle the fast based schedule that adults push themselves to live by daily. They aren't capable of walking break-neck paces, they barely keep up the adults at a slow jaunt, they don't have adult stomachs - they eat a little at a time, in fact this is their eating behaviors are formed. Try to talk with them at their level, no need to yell their ears are still forming...but by talking at their level you are reducing the amount of stress on their necks - which are still forming.

So if your un-chosen hectic life style finds you "rushing" around allot w/your child in tow, pick them-up and carry them around until you can make the time to "walk with them" . It's like that old saying:
Do not walk in front of me, I may not fallow.
Do not walk behind me, I may not lead.
Instead, walk beside me and be my friend.

That is the truest statement any person esp parents can live by with young children

I'm sorry if I offended anyone... It's just an observation I have seen most everywhere I go, and it makes me very very sad to see happen.
If you see someone in need of help and you can do something, then do something — that goes for people and animals. If you can help out, try. That’s what I hope people take away from this.” -Alex Scroggins
