Maybe you could have a Beach Party theme.

Have them wear shorts and wear sunglasses and sun hats. Serve Fruit Punch, chips & dips with hot dogs, watermelon and brownies. Then play some beach music and let the kids dance any way they want to. Add a couple large umberellas for back ground pictures of friends or each child for them to take home as a sovineer.

Or if possible let them wear swim suits and run through a sprinkler.

Have fun.

How bout a 'picnic' on the playground or at a local park? When my dd was in preschool, parents signed up to bring different things for the picnic; ie...chips, dip, condiments, buns, lunchmeat, dessert, salads. The kids loved it as they could play and run off some energy, and parents could get to know each other better and visit.

My daughter's teacher just asked me to plan an ice cream social for the end of the class party.

I don't think that it's going to be much more than ice cream with lots of toppings. It's going to be more of asking for donations, I think, than anything else.

The kids are super excited about it, though!
