Let's see...no I am not pregnant, I know someone who just had a baby, someone who is due in July, someone who is adopting and the biological mother is dialated but not in labor (yet), and after Friday I will not be able to get pregnant. So, once again, I could answer multiple ways.

A teacher friend of mine had a baby a week ago Friday and I know three others who are due fairly soon. No I am not pregnant even thought I would not mind having another my dh would kill me. He is an only child and having two is hard enough for him and me (considering I have 3 including him ).

No more babies for me. My kids are 21 (will be 22 in May), 19 and 13. Thought we were done after #2, but #3 was a nice suprise, because he is our only son.
I have a nephew who's wife is pregnant with her first, due in June. She is in her 40's. Although this is her first, this isn't his, he has twins and a girl in their 20's from his first wife, and his now youngest is 13 from another wife.

Would like to be pregnant

We were planning on being pregnant and almost due by this time next year, but.......

First we have a couple of obstacles to get taken care of. My sleep apnea being the biggie. Will see the doctor's again on Tuesday and maybe we'll have a solution finally. I've been going through sleep studies for almost 3 years now!! Have tried the CPAP for almost that long. I go to sleep with it on and when I wake up (regardless of the hour) I find the mask is hung up on the bedpost and the machine has been turned off. Oops!

If anyone has any "dealing with sleep apnea /pregnancy" advice I would sure appreciate it. Thanks!

Not at this time, but my boyfriend would like to have his own. I think I'm too old to be chasing them around ALL day. I do it till 5:00 M - F doing daycare, but all night too.... uhhh hmmm. He is a great father to my 8 year old son and I know how special my son was to my late husband and much he wanted a son, so we'll see. Time will tell. I personally prefer to adopt so I dont have to go through the pregnant stage. LOL Any advise on labor with asthma? That's one of my biggest fears. I didnt have it with my first and still was asked if I wanted oxygen.

Tammy,

Don't let the asthma stop you if you want to have another. Talk with your doctor/pulmonologist about it. I have fairly significant asthma. It was not an issue with my first. However, it was pretty bad with my second. I continued to take my maintenance medications throughout the pregnancy as well as my rescue medications and steroids to control it. The one thing both my ob/gyn and my pulmonologist said was that the risk to the baby was virtually non-existent with the medications but the risk of uncontrolled asthma was pretty high.

Good luck!

nope.....nada......noway.
no more kids here. grammie has 5 grandkids and doesn't have a chance in heck to produce any more.......surgically impossible from both sides, and probably will not see any new grandkids either.
At this time do not know anyone having a baby but a niece is in the process of trying again.

I can't get pregnant. But we adopted almost 11 years ago. I do babysit. And one of my mom's had a baby in December. I get to keep her and send her home. I have decided that might be the best way to have another right now. The kind to go home. Babies are so expensive. Dawn
