Margaret - so glad that all your tests came back with good results.

Connie - prayers for your upcoming biopsy and for your family situation.

Lizzieboo - I hope your husband's trip is safely completed and that you are able to complete the home repairs and sell the house quickly so that you may join him soon.

Kay - praying that Brian takes his mediations more easily for you. It is not fun to fight them to take what you know helps them.

Karen - so sorry to hear about your brother's house burning. Thankfully they still have the other house and they are okay, but it is heartbreaking to know of all the work put into the new one and all your belongings.

Theresa - I hope your grandson's surgery was successful and he is recuperating well.

It has been a busy week. Thank you for your prayers for Matthew and his family. Updates on two of my other requests. The friends daughter, Joann, unfortuanately has been diagnosed with breast cancer and will undergo a Masectomy. She is only twenty and had so many doctors reviewing the findings as it is rare for someone of her age to have this type. They will also do studies of her whole body to make sure it has not metasicized (?) to any other parts. Needless to say her family has been stressed and need continued prayers that all goes well and no more cancer is found.

The other was our school situation. The principal was fired and we have an interim one in place. The kids really liked the first one and are having a more difficult time with the new as she is enforcing the rules more. I tried to explain to my dd that even though they liked the old one there were problems she had communicating with adults and running things. Also said the new one was not mean but had to follow the rules. Praying that all works out.

Robin, Thanks for listing the requests. I'll be praying about your dd's school situation and the new principle.

Praying for all who are ill or recovering from surgery and those who are struggling with difficult family members and friends. So sorry to hear about the fire but glad that they were not injured. Also praying for those who may be alone and/or missing lost loved ones during the upcoming holidays.

Good morning friends,
It is about a week since I was here and goodness me! what a busy time we are all having one way and another. As I have been reading every single post since 30th October, one thought has been coming to me over and over again, and I am CERTAIN beyond doubt that the Lord is speaking to me and that I should share with you. This is not something I usually do, so please bear with me!
In His word, the Lord tells us many times to go to Him in prayer and to ask for the needs we have, and He will give you the desires of your heart(s). Most times I find it extremely difficult to pray for my own needs, like others have suggested, that seems to be so hard to do, but right now I am so aware that the Lord is telling me it is OK and that is what He wants from us - as well as praying for others, to pray about ourselves. After all, He is our Father and we are His children. Also, as I read all the requests I kept thinking, "Boy! We are really keeping you busy God, and that is great. I know YOU can cope with it all, even if I get weary thinking about it all!" Back came a reply "As a mum, wife and worker you get busy but you always manage to get through the things you need to - you cope. As your Heavenly Father I not only have the ability to help you cope, I AM that ability. Trust me, and see how busy you think I can get and still have time just for you, Lynne.
Now, that has really brought me to this point - dear friends, as you read this post, (if you are still reading to this point), please stop, right now, and take a few seconds, minutes or however long, and pray FOR YOURSELF. As I say, this is NOT what I usually do, but let's try it.

I am prayong for all your requests, heartaches, joys, sorrows. My friend J in Pennsylvania is seeing her surgeon tomorrow (well, Monday, whenever that is.) Pls pray for her.
Phil is doing OK. Dh, Meg and I saw him yesterday and he is making good prgress.

God bless each of you,
God bless,
(Lynne - praying for )

Welcome Austin James! You share my fathers birthday!

I will pray for myself Lynne! Thank you for reminding me. I am so nervous about my biopsy tomorrow. Will I have my breast tomorrow night? I am scared. I will pray whenever the scared feeling comes in my heart. Other than that I plan to celebrate life tonight with my dh.
Don't stay were you are tolerated, go where you are celebrated!
