Kathy, what I do is put an address label on the top before I write. That way they know who it's from & the post office don't send it back to me. If you put it at the bottom, the post office machines recognize the lowest address & you'll get them sent back to you. Found that out the hard way. I always sign mine with my screen name Minny & put from Family Corner.

Howdy do all!

Ok, I really am hooked on this postcard thing. Went to an area antique shop yesterday and got $7.00 worth of antique cards. Really neat!

I got :

2 from Pompei. Not sure the date but OLD
2 from France from like 1903
1 from Berlin
even one from Mexico!
and on and on.

I also received my cards from:

Kathy
Train
and Lynette....

thanks lots!

Minny, what I do with my address labels for pc, is to put it on sideways, on the side where you write your message. This way, the postal machine will never recognize it as and address and try to send it to the wrong person. lol I learned this from another group, and it works...also, I make smaller labels for this purpose, or sometimes free ones come in my mailbox from organizations. I use them but some times they have my address wrong! lol

Catch you somewhere today dear friend! Great chatting with you last night, the drama is still on, waiting on part 2. I am running away today!lol

Love you!
Janet

Bilby made my siggy for me...it is exactly how I feel way up here in the UP. lol Thanks Kathy!

Janet, I've put them on sideways too... I just forgot to mention it. I get some from the organizations too, but they usually have my first name on them instead of the one I go by. I usually cut the first name off & just leave the last name & address if I'm sending it on something that is going to someone that knows who it is.

Cute Sig... good job Kathy(Bilby) You're doin great with the siggys. Snowowl made mine over at Sig Country.

Post Sorry I haven't been around

Hello Everyone~
Haven't been able to get on computer and have any fun for the last few days...I had a Trojan virus that showed up on my daily antivirus scan
It was maddening until I could find a place to go to get rid of it. I have AVG and it is the one that found it. But it couldn't get rid of it. Finally got some advice from some "computer" friends and went to a site called Panda Software and it removed it for me. Thank goodness I wasn't a big business or something....I don't do any money changing on the computer either. So the most it did was aggravate me and hopefully didn't infect anyone else.
The weather here in Indiana has been unreal. So very cold!! Yesterday when I got up it was minus 8 Today we are having a heat wave and it is 19 above zero...LOL! Going tomorrow with Craftybear (Karen) to get postcards and mailing supplies. I owe several cards and want to get them out.
Hope everyone is having a peaceful Sunday.
Hugs~

Lisa,
Sorry that you got that darn virus, but glad you were able to get rid of it. I have been getting e mails that have the listed subject lines, but I haven't opened any of them. I delete anything that I don't know who it is from & do not open any attachments or files.I have Norton Anti virus & it scans all incoming & outgoing messages. I run my virus scan a couple times a day when one of these viruses are running wild.

Minny, That is what I do too...I run my virus scan at least at shutdown and check everyday for updates. I do not accept attachments, or forwards. So I do hope all my friends understand that. Also I do not send email to everyone unless it is undisclosed. We have to stop spam someway.

Kathy does a wonderful job on her siggy's. I love when she surprises me...seems like I always like other people's siggy instead of my own...lol

Catch you later gator...have to get to the airport to pick up my mom... Janet

Aw shucks Janet,
I'm still learning the siggy stuff, it's just finding the time to sit down and play!! You will just have to find time to play.

I've had an email from Donna Marie (craftyldy), she said that it could still be up to 4 weeks until she is back to normal computer time wise. If anyone would like a postcard from Maine can you PM me and I will pass this on in a condensed form as she only get a very limited time on the comp per day at the moment. She said to say hello to you all

Fiona
I have a card on it's way to Lancashire today.

A new week dawns and it all starts over again only the month is Febuary. !!
