Happy face

I got an Easter swap from Laura... thank you I loved the card & the stickers & bookmark! I didn't think about making a card like you did. Very Clever!

I also received a card from Marj of Sovereign Hill Gallarat.. I bet it was really interesting to visit that place. Thanks Marj..

I only got 1 word today... my total is 32 words.

Theresa ~thank you for my wonderful magnet of the Native Chief and all the other pc's of Native Americans!! Just awesome stuff that they made my husband envious of my pc swaps! He was said "WoW!" when he saw them all and most especially the magnet!

Lynette ~ Thank you for the pc of Native Americans riding their horses down the trail. It is pretty neat that you live only 12 miles away from them . That is like driving from my place to the nearest WalMart!

Ladies can you help me identify this plant? My husband and I have been trying to figure out if it is an edible herb or just a weed? It smells so much like lemongrass and has sharp blades but does not look like a typical lemongrass. (See the attached picture please)

Lita, to me it looks like a young start of "bee balm"..later on the leaves change, and in the meantime, the lemon smell is wonderful.

Are you going to watch it grow? if so, it will be interesting to see what it becomes.

If you have a county extenstion office, they might be able to identify it for you.

If it doesn't nourish your soul,
Don't Keep it.

Sorry I haven't been around much. It's been a crazy week for me. First I got the perititus and then my youngest came down with the stomach flu. We wound up in the er on Wed night and she needed to get iv fluids because she was dehydrated. Thankfully she's doing better and my face doesn't look like the goodyear blimp anymore.

Anyway I want to thank Kathy and Rosey for the great Easter swaps. I loved the candy, stickers and window clings. Also, I want to thank BoomBoom for the pc of Pearl Harbor. My grandpa-in-law was there. I'm up to 31 words in Bingo. Slowly getting up there. Maybe there's still hope for me.

Lastly I've volunteered to host a May Day swap. The theme is anything related to spring. Everyone will get two names to swap with. Remember you must include an insert with your card such as stickers, a bookmark, etc. The deadline for signup is Sunday, April 8 and all swaps need to be mailed out by the 13th. This will allow enough time for those going overseas to receive them in time.

If you would like to join the May Day swap, PM me your name and address.
