Hi ladies, I am officially joining the postcard swap club!

I want to thank all who filled me in with the info I requested.

I am looking forward to exchanging postcards with as many as who would like to exchange with me. I have traveled so much when I was younger and while I have been married you would have thought I would have been smart enough to get postcards from each place, but woe is me, I didn't. So, now is the my chance to do that.

Thank you Bar_Bar for the welcome back. I'm trying to get caught up with my swaps. Since July, everything has gone wrong. First my hubby, then my gr son. Hopefully everything will get back on track now. Thanks for the prayers.

Not Janet, but I had wondered about that, too. I checked the USPS site and didn't see that HI and AK needed extra postage, so I used a regular ol' "domestic rate" postie stamp on it. Ya'll are states, after all, so it shouldn't cost more to mail to ya! Hope it gets there!

LovedMom, I haven't received the next batch of cards...the first ounce is $.37 cents and every addtional once is $.23...so if you envie with cards weighs 1.5 oz. it would cost you -$.60 to mail a letter of normal size...now if you use a odd shaped envie..it will cost you more.

I will let you know if I get them...usually my postman just collects the extra money from me..if it gets this far.

Those are the regular postage rates for domestic U.S. mail, so it doesn't cost any extra to mail to HI. Cool! Good thing, too, 'cause I just put a regular 23 cent pc stamp on mine!!! I didn't think the gov't would charge more to send to another state, even one 'way out in the Pacific Ocean. A state's a state. But those folks in D.C. have done odder stuff! LOL

Good morning all!!

I am so excited with all the responses I have received for the postcard swap. Thank you one and all!!! I will be getting my postcards out to you this week...it will be later on in the week so be looking out for them!!

Gotta go on a hunt for some really neat ones, get some stamps...think of things to say......get a little background on a couple of things....get a camera.....take pictures......get developed.........scan........have hubby figure out how to put pics on postcards........whew...that made me tired just posting it all!!!!
