I seem to have lost a post! I know even my memory's not so bad that I'm just imagining sitting here today and writing a long (as usual LOL) post on this thread. But it ain't here! If it pops up later, I apologize in advance for the double posting.

My waitress friend came through! When we went to breakfast today, she'd found the batch of cards she picked up for me while down in Long Beach WA recently. She'd torn apart their RV looking for 'em, and they were in her pickup all along.

So I have a batch of pcs from the WA coast. We've visited Long Beach a couple of times, and it's just a bit down the coast from Ocean Shores where we honeymooned (three years ago next week!) I have posties of lighthouses, of course, one of a cranberry bog, at least one of the small fishing port of Ilwaco, and several of the boardwalk and the annual kite festival along it. None of the World's Largest Frying Pan, though, alas! I guess technically it's the biggest CLAM pan. Clamming's a big past time down there, and they also have oyster farms. There's a pic of the giant pan on this site about the area; the site has several webcams, too. Pretty area, and they have that Pacific NW rarity, a l-o-n-g (28 miles, I think) flat beach you can drive on. Most of our beaches are rocky and covered with pebbles and driftwood. Not that you can get much of a tan on any of our beaches -- mold and rust, maybe, but not a tan! -- but at least you can lie on Long Beach without getting bruises!

Since we're seriously talking about moving down to NM or AZ to get our aching, stiff joints away from the rain and wet up here, DH asked me if I was sure I wanted to swap these posties or if I'd rather keep 'em as souvenirs of the area. But, gee, if I send them all out, then we'll have to go back down there for a few days before we leave WA, right? So please help me get a trip to the beach by wanting a postie of the WA coast!

Wonder what's happened to my siggie? I have the dreaded "red X in a box" down there! Hmmm....

List lost

Hi everyone,
I have lost my list of who I had sent cards out to & who I owe cards too. If I was supposed to send you a card & you didn't get it, Please let me know so I can get caught up.

HelenGloria I have received your address & sent you mine.

I know there are some new members here that I haven't swapped with yet so if anyone wants to trade with me, please send me a PM & please tell me if you want the cards postmarked & written on or if you want them sent in an envelope with no writing on the card. When someone asks for them this way, I usually put a note in with it. Thanks

Redcardinalbird, I tried to pm you with my address, but I got a notice that said your box is full.

bar-bar, Do I have your address for a swap? If not, please pm it to me. You are the one who got me into this. LOL

Janet, I didn't have/ could not find any decent cards when I sent yours out. We walked and drove all over this place. I think post cards are like police officers, (never around when you need them). So I have found some and will be sending you a replacement for the girl one. You'll know the one I mean when you see it.

Bilby, Trainlady, Kellydid, Minny, Rosindubh, and HelenGloria, just warning you I'll be pming you shortly with my addy and to get yours.

Think that's all for now. Will post again if I've missed anyone. Or if I have missed you, please pm me. It's easier that way.

Thanks all,
