Canning Butter For Storage

Has anyone ever done this? I belong to another group of folks who are involved in homesteading and living simply and this recipe was brought up by a member who has been doing it for years. She shared this website.

What do you think? I ask a elderly neighbor who has canned for years if she had ever heard of it, she had not.

Yes I thought so too... from the directions, you'd really need to have your refrigerator cleared out to put all those jars in and be able to take them back out and shake them up. Quite frugal if you catch butter on sale at a good price and you do alot of baking.
