chuckle Adopted a new Puppy

Well hello everyone.

Those of you who are familiar with my posts know that last year our family had raised a labrador retriever for the "SEEING EYE". "Keno" went back August 5th and so far has passed everything.
Later we inherited my nephew and his pup. My sister came and took the pup. In a way it was a good thing. In a way he has no where to run. Oh well, I can't change it . He was never mine.... (breaks my heart)
The wonderful and great news is.....
My nephew and I had gone to the local animal shelter to walk a few dogs....and HE was there.
An 8 week old german shepherd/ husky mix. Very playful, smart as a whip and so willing to please. That was September 30. That means his approximate birthday was right around the time "Keno" returned to the "SEEING EYE"! Talk about being meant to be!
That was a month ago. In the month we have had "Lobo", he has mastered SIT, COME, DOWN, REST, STAYBACK, NO BITE. He is almost potty trained. He actually won 2nd place in a contest for most obedient and also 2nd place for bet kisser!!!!
He gets along so well with our 8 year old dauchand/ beagle, as well as our 3 year old kitty.:at: "Lobo" love bananas, to retrieve, walks in the mountain and car rides.
We are so blessed with the additon of this pup. God is SO good. He knew I needed this pup!

Hello there again.......

Well my baby is 7 months now, and HUGE!
Actually we just got back from Mexico, talk about separation anxiety! He ate everything! Don't get me wrong...he had a "puppy sitter". My neighbor graciously took care of our pets, but WOW! It is a darn good thing I love him so blasted much. He made confetti out of any paper his lil' paws could reach. We were so happy to see him we didn't say much.
Well things are getting back to normal...whatever normal is, LOL He needs a lil reminding at times of his lil' cainine manners.
BTW, "Keno" the puppy we raised for "THE SEEING EYE" will have his town walk soon. He is doing really well they say but he is not controling his emptying habits. If he is rejected as a dog guide we will take him back....HAPPILY! Anyway, that's the update.

Hugs and Blessings,
Cathy
