kitty names

Cute kitties.. Good luck with shop. Hope they don't get into everything they like to play in just about anything they can find.

Might find them in the tub with bath stuff...

I vote for Emily/Emma

They are cute. Wouldn't it be nice if they could stay that size? I think buttons goes well with the other name, but so does patches!

I think scraps would be a good name since all crafters no matter how sufficicated use scraps and these kitties look like little scraps.....how adorable.
If you hadn't had a poll I would have said Belinda since that was a friend of raggedy ann and she was darker than raggedy and this was a dark cat...oh well.

I think the perfect name would be Patches but it looks like more people like Buttons.
My kids always made fun of me because I named my Kitties after the color they were. such as;Yellow Kitty.Blackie or Midnight,Black and White(one cat). Cali and Cali junior.Mercury,Blue, one was named Stevie Wonder because he would sing to me and he was black and white.(remember the song Ebony and Ivory?), One was Fuzzy Wuzzy but we called him Wuzzy. He was a very large cat plus the long Hair he looked huge. He pranced around so royally.
I also gave some of my pets middle names. Patches could be Patches Renee, or Patches Anne.

Don't have any cats now because of family members with allergies and I really miss the company. Hubby never had pets when he was growing up so he doesn't miss pets but I always had several cats and lots of dogs. But living here is not a good place for animals.
Give them a special hug from me,
Valerie

Hi Amanda,

When I first saw the kitties, the first thing I thought of Reese's peanut butter cups, so how about:

Reese
Peanut
Buttercup

;-)

Kittens are everywhere

My daughter and I just adopted 2 black abandoned (at 3 weeks old) kittens from the local animal shelter. A friend was fostering them until they were old enough for adoption. I chose the smallest one (who is the most vocal one) and named her Martha after Martha Mitchell (the Mouth of the South) of Watergate fame. My daughter named her's Ashley after Ashley Olsen (Mary-Kate and Ashley fame). My sister had a black grown cat wander in and take up residence in her house before Christmas. She named the cat Wicca (after the witchcraft religion). I chose Emily because is always seemd to be a gentle, soft, refined name. Which means if you do name your cat Emily you'll have a cat more suited to be named something like Gypsy, Jezebel or Wild Woman.

They are so cute! I have 3 cats myself. I have had many cats in my lifetime. Another good name is Calley, for the Calico. You are an angel for taking 2 of them and giving them a good home. Good Luck on the selection.
