cats

I have four cats ages 1-14. We love our cats that we have taken in but it is to the point we will have to turn them away eventually. We have 3 girls and one boy.

We have 2 cats, both calicos. The oldest, Cali, is about 11 years and the other, Ladybug, is about 6 years. Obviously, Ladybug is my favorite, since my user name is hers! She's my shadow, follows me all over the house....

I have 3 cats that are house goddesses', Miss Kitty, Trouble and Nubin'. And about 6 more little ones outside from a barn cat. The kids have named everyone of those, too. Some of the names of the outside ones are Stitch, Popcorn, Whiz, Pepe, Furby and Goldylocks. I guess that's the advantages of living in the country. At least I haven't had problems with the snakes the past 2 years.

We have 3 kitties - Niki (girlie girl black siamese matriac at age 13!), Maive (12 year old calico who when she was born, had a mauve color to her ears) - she was born on my hubbys birthday to a stray my mother had just taken in, and Sammy (an 11 year old black & white male who was the kitten of a stray that hubbys grandmother was taking care of. She has his brother & sister).

Our cats were our children before we had our daughter!

I have a 3 1/2 month old kitten, her name is Taffy. Boy, she's a hoot!! haha I wish I had ALL the energy she has. She's a Tabby. A couple weeks ago a gorgeous male cat moved on my porch. I have no idea where he came from, but I'm feeding and playing with him. I'd love to bring him in, but Taffy sounds like a spitting cobra everytime she gets a glimpse of him. I'm hoping they can become friends.

We have two cats: Susie is 10 years old and she`s been living with us for 8 years now. I adopted her from an animalshelter in germany (when we used to live there) and I love her!!! She sleeps in bed with me and most of the time follows me around the house. She hates my dh, though! He likes to pick her up even though he knows she doesnt want to be picked up...

Then we have Kaycee. She`s a gray kitten (6 month old) and she`s my dd Nicki`s pet. She`s a tomboy and tears up EVERYTHING!!! she wakes me up in the morning by biting my feet, because she`s hungry and wants her food RIGHT NOW!!

dd Jackie has a new hamster, just got it 10 days ago. Kaycee would just love to eat it! she just keeps on eyeing the hamstercage!

We have a calico cat named Kallie who is 14 or 15 years old. She is very friendly and loves to be petted. She sometimes goes outside, but mostly inside. She is company for us.

Does anyone here clip / shave their cats for the summer?
My a/c went out, and is soooooo expensive to replace, that my 3 cats were sweltering. I just received a new conair clipper from a survey that i do monthly. Anyway......now i have 3 cool cats...they all have "schnauser" (sp?) haircuts. Will try to get some pics of them on here.

Meeko.... Merlin.... Kali....
