At one time I had 13 cats! I have my best friend," CD" (Cairo Deux) and my kids have Puff Ball, my oldest daughter has a kitten named "Luna", my husband has "Lady Catherine" or "Kattie" . Each has it's own personality. CD is the boss, parent figure and takes care of all the rest as well as everyone in my family. Puff Ball takes the role of loving everyone in excess. Kattie is the lady of the house and she has the personality of a Queen. Luna is a spoiled baby. It is always a thrill to observe and love them all

Sorry that the moth balls didn't work. I don't know what else to do.

We just bought a house. It is a fixer-uper. We pulled up the carpet and the hard-wood floor is stained. I think it is from pets. I am afraid that when we move our cat in that she will add to the problem. I'm not sure what to do about it. We have considered re-finishing the floors, but don't think they are worth saving. We plan to live with them the way they are and save up for carpeting. Any suggestions for keeping the cat from adding her "scent"? She has never done that before.

chuckle hairball remedy

I used to have a cat that would not eat the hairball stuff, no matter what! The vet gave me a syringe..(w/o the needle part!)..big enough to screw onto the tip of the hairball tube. filled it up, and squirted it into her mouth. Rinse it under warm water, and use it over and over.
Sometimes ya just gotta do, what you gotta do!

We have these two little kittens that are sisters (from the same litter) One - Little Bit - has a serious deffect with her sternum and is a lot smaller than her sister - Mittens. Mittens takes care of Little Bit. She makes sure that she is safe when someone different cames near them. she lays with her arms around Little Bit when they sleep - like a mother comforting or cuddling her baby. It is so sweet to watch them.

Our daughter moved home this weekend and she brought her two cats with her. They are much larger than ours. We didn't know how they would get along so had planned to keep hers downstairs. They got out yesterday and slowly come upstairs. so far no major fights but they are staying away for each other. and Mittens is always between her cats and Little Bit.

Hope your day is sunny.

Hi, I have three cats right now. Tigger an old tiger striped cat that is getting up there in age. And a few years back some friends gave me a black cat Sly and a few months later we got a white one we named Snowball. Sly thinks he is a dog and stays with me when I am working outside. He acts like he needs to protect me from things. He even went so far as to go after a possumn one day that hissed at me. Snowball got his name because he came in the winter. He love chasing snowballs around. Which was great except my horses didn't care for seeing the snow moving lol They are used to him now but that first winter he had them all going nuts when he'd go out and play near them. I have to admit it was pretty funny to watch him sneaking around in the snow, go to pounce on a snowball that looked good to play with and see a bunch of horses just about jump out of their fur

My Son has three cats. Never liked cats before but this one is so affectionate and sweet. Everytime we visit he puts on a big show on the steps hates to see us leave. His other cat is nasty resents the newer ones around. He will only let you pet him when he feels like it.
Even my DH who is allergic to cats plays with him. Guess even cats have their own personalities.

We no longer have Speckles....

We no longer have Speckles....
We now have a Cat named Whiskers who is almost 3 years old he is a Male Cat who is totally inside cat.
Whiskers is afraid of the outside.
I also take care of the Neighbor's 5 outdoor Cats.
He has 1 Female.
He has 4 Males.
All outdoor cats.
They all need good homes.
The neighbor no longer has time for the cats so I am to watch them and feed them and give them some TLC. I am also trying to find them good homes.

cat owner

I have 3 cats, I started out with one, after she had kittens one stayed with us as an outside tom cat. My son brought home his cat, that made three. They get along ok but all three think they are owner of the house
