Just wanted to pop in and say that I did take my dog to the vet for the same problem and she has cleaned my poodle's teeth and now Coco is tarter free but she still has bas breath. She isn't a puppy anymore. As a matter of fact, she is close to 15 yrs old. But nothing we've tried works. So I'll try to get the two items that were suggested on this board.

Sorry about that! That was supposed to be bad breath, not bas.

Hello Kimmyo,

You are right about checking with your vet! Good Point. My dogs are 5 yrs old and 1 1/2 yrs old so I don't think it is a age related problem...I think its the food.

I did find a dog biscuit with parsley in it, suppose to help with the dogs breath. The 5 yr old won't eat it but the youngster loves them!

The breath thing wouldn't be such a problem but they wake us every morning by jumping up in bed and getting in our faces! LOL

After reading about your dog and their lovely breath, I thought you might like a good laugh. Each time we would get something new for our dog, my son has to try it first. He's now 11 and wtill is the "taster". If he doesn't like it, he doesn't feed it to our dog! Our dog doesn't usually have bad breath either, but I'm not going to try it.

Catrose44, What a laugh! I wonder if my 12yr old would take on the job of being the "taster".
