Video of Goats Being Born

  • As some of you know I have developed a interest in goats this past year after learning to make goat milk soap and my farming friends sharing their knowledge of all different kinds of goats. I was given this link by one of my friends and thought it was something beautiful and educational that others might enjoy as well.

I will warn ahead of time, it is graphic and real so if you are squeamish about the birthing process then this might not be for you.

You are welcome, being a city girl I'd never have been able to see something so magical. Glad you enjoy it.

  • MY DH used to work on a range where sheep and goats were raised. (He works in the oil field.) He always came home excited about all the sheep and goats that were dropping.

Thanks for sharing the video because I've never actually witnessed it myself. Life is a beautiful thing.
  • thank you so much, that was wonderful to watch. I guess the spring birthing season is upon us, don't lambs come in February and March?
  • That was neat anna, thanks! I've seen horses being born, but never a goat
  • Glad to share... I had no idea they came out feet and head first, pretty awesome. We are thinking about buying a goat of our own to be kept at our friends farm.
