Ohio Story: Labrador Ingest Glue

I thought I would post this so that we can all learn about keeping temptations away from curious pets.

Oh my goodness, those were some pretty large masses they removed. Sometimes we forget that animals can get into things as much as children. Thanks for sharing.

DeBora

You are welcome and yes, that poor baby.. he's lucky to have even lived through that and what did I find on my living room floor when I got home last night? A full bottle of Elmers Glue that had fallen or got knocked off the table, YIKES!!

Anna, I have a bottle of rubber cement that I use for making posters for school on my kitchen table. I live in an RV while I am away at school. I discovered day before yesterday that my chihuahua puppy can get up on the couch, on the chairs, and then on the table. With his puppy teeth and that plastic bottle of glue, anything could have happened while I was at school.

Anna, at least children can talk to you and tell you what is ailing them and how they are feeling. I think most of us don't realize the dangers that exist for animals because we are more educated what to do for prevention for children than for animals. jmo

So true and dogs will hide when their sick so it's even harder to tell if something is wrong.
