I think we've finally *made it* (knock on wood)

Ok I hope I don't jinx anything here...but my poodle baby is doing sooooo well with her "house manners". I *think* I can say she is housebroken....sigh. I have been waiting and living for the day that I could relax with her and say those words. She tells me when she needs out, she does her thing and then wants back in. Whew! What a relief that IS!

Yay!! What a great feeling isn't it?? Angel is now 7 months old and for about a month now she has been free to sleep anywhere in the house, rather than being confined to my room. She's been potty trained longer than that, but I had found a couple of wet spots in the basement, so I didn't trust her during the night to be alone roaming the house.

Now if I could only get her to stay in the yard. Grrrrr. I'm working on it tho!

Congrats to you and your baby!

My little Heidi sleeps in her crate at night and actually won't settle down until you put her in it! We had a 12 yr. old schnauzzer that was the same way until she died. She would wander around all night if we didn't "put her to bed"..... I'm gonna continue to crate Heidi as I sleep better not having to worry about it too.

I did the crate with Angel too. My problem was she outgrew it and I never got another one. It wouldn't fit anywhere in my little house She's a german shephard.
