Pizza Pasta

Pizza Pasta

1/4 lb mild pork sausage
3/4 lb ground beef
1 8-oz pkg of pizza blend shredded cheese
1 12-oz pkg of Bow Tie Pasta
jarred spaghetti sauce (I used Prego)
pepperoni slices

Prepare the pasta as directed on the package. Drain and set aside.
Brown and crumble the sausage and ground beef together in a skillet. Drain off fat.
Pour in enough of the spaghetti sauce to make a thick meat sauce. Mix the pasta and the sauce together.
Spray a 9x13 baking dish with non stick spray. Cover the bottom of the pan with half the pasta mixture. Top with a layer of pepperoni slices (I cut mine in 1/4's to stretch the pepperoni), then layer on 1/2 the bag of cheese. Repeat the layers with the rest of the pasta, another layer of pepperoni and top off with cheese.
Cover and bake at 350 for 20-30 minutes until heated through and cheese melts.

You could season this any way that you would season pizza. You could also add any veggies your family likes on pizza...mushrooms, onions, peppers etc.
