Location: I live in the foothills of Maine and near a major river. The area is quiet but we can be in a large city that has everything that you would want to visit. WE're two hours from Old Orchard Beach and it is so beautiful

I'm seeing a councilor and on medication, but they say I have so much on my plate it's just overwhelming. I'm in pain constantly because of a torn rotator cuff and fighting diabetes to get my A1C below 8 so I can have surgery. I buried my mom last Saturday and that was not an easy task to take her cremains and place them in the ground . then mother's day and my birthday are just one day apart and it's the first without my mom. Just seems strange. I know I'll get threw all of it but right at the moment it's really hard. We all loose our parents but the first holidays are horrible. We just had her funeral two weeks ago and in our Church now there having a big program on Sunday so I'm not going this Sunday.

I agree with staying away from church on Sunday with it being Mother's Day it will be hard enough for you without all the little kids giving things to their Mom's and having an ode to Mom's sermon most churches do.

Do as much as you can and leave the less to take care of YOU.
