Clubs for Mom and Kids?

What sort of groups--ones that are designed for Moms and the kids to join--do you have in your area?

I know of Moms Club and MOPS but I'm sure there are more that I'm missing out on. Any other suggestions?

Thanks!

There is a national group called Mothers-n-More. I'm not sure of their website, you could do a search on the name. They have various activites for moms and kids and just moms too at times. you'll find a group in your area, I'm sure! Good luck!!

Moms Groups

I have heard of both. For Mothers & More, their website is
www.mothersandmore.org

There are also places like Gymboree that offer parent/child classes or the local Y too. We have a place hear called Parents Place where they offer classes and playgroups. Also, when I moved I joined a Newcomer's group, which had a Mom & Tots playgroup in it.

There are alot of things for parent/child, the hard part is nothing seems readily available and you need to search alot!!! With kids, who has time anymore?!?

Anyways, good luck in your search for Mommy groups!

Mom & Kids in Club

Try a local 4-H club, they are not just for cows and cooking anymore. 4-H is now very much a 20th century club. 4-H is a family oriented club, I have lots of moms who stay and participate in the club activities.
