Wasn't real sure they would have what you are looking for, but thought it would give you a starting place. My SIL has a small freezer only they bought for their fifth wheel for vacations. They place it outside under their canopy while camping, if you would like I could call her and see if she remembers where they got theirs; just let me know.

I don't know if you can use these but Sam's Club has 7 cubic - foot freezers (chest type) on their website. Is that too big?

I have a slight emergency. My RV fridge is NOT working!!!! Please pass this info to somebody who might know how to help me and have them PM me--please. The freezer is working but not the fridge.

Thanks! I cannot help but wonder if it is because I had too much stuff in the freezer. The freezer is working just fine though. I may have to run down to Walmart and grab a styrofoam icechest to keep my cold stuff cold. I think I am going to have to throw away what few eggs I have left away as they are not pasturized. They came from my friend's chickens.

Anyway, if you can help me--please let me know. If not, I'll go down and get some ice and an ice chest.

You may have solved the problem! If the freezer is still working correctly it possibly is that the vents to take the cold air to the refrigerator section are blocked either in the freezer or the refrigerator section itself. I sure hope that is it, but it shouldn't be anything else as long as freezer food is still frozen good. I hate it when you can't stuff them full, but that may really be the problem. i hope you find your separate freezer soon!

Cat lover, they ran out of styrofoam ice chests except for the one with the Walmart name on it. They were expensive and small. So, I ended up getting a Coleman 50 qt for about $5 more than the 2 disposables. I came home and salvaged what I could. I am going to throw away the eggs though because a friend gave them to me from her chickens and they are not pasturized.

While on the phone with DH, we discovered that there is a "pan" with 4 "knobs" or "nipples" underneath the top shelf in the freezer. So, I think that might be what cannot be blocked. I moved stuff away from that in the freezer. This morning the fridge seems to be working!!!

So, this will be a busy day with me cleaning out the fridge, putting the food back, washing dishes (the pilot went out and I had NO hot water last night either), and getting my homework/studying done. I just need to wake up now.

Also, we ordered a freezer. I don't know how long it will take, but I am sure it will be at least Monday before it is mailed. Here's the link to the one DH decided on: http://www.compactappliance.com/xq/J...cCampaign=1494

Thank you everyone.

DeBora,so glad your refrigerator is working again, nothing makes a bad start to the day than that happening! Also glad you found a freezer that will work for you! See things are looking better already! Have a good day!

Well, I'm not happy with the coldness of the fridge though. I'm sure it has to do with the fact that I still have a few things in the freezer. I just cannot wait until the freezer comes in.
