I'm sooo Excited!!!!

My sister is getting married and she asked me to be her Matron of Honor!!! I am so excited and happy for her. If my work schedule permitts, we will be going dress shopping this friday. She's having a September wedding. She's a single mom with three boys and I'm just so excited and happy for her.

hi ctealady..maybe these sites will help you and your sister...my daughter just had her wedding in May. usabride.com Fireyourweddingplanner.com TheKnot.com Davids Bridal.com...If your sister is looking for a indoor reception area call you County or Historical Buildings They usually charge a whole lot cheaper than you realize...even an outdoor reception is cheaper too...something like a park or a flower garden..etc. My daughter had her reception at the old historic City Hall Building and we rented half a room for 550.00 for all day..it had its own kitchen area, which was a great help to her caterers. It had beautiful hardwood floors and tall windows..it had a small stage where we put up and arch and put her cake table there. It was very nice and we got lots of compliments on it. We saved a lot of money by decorating the hall ourselves. She was married in a historic church on St. Simons Islands here in Georgia. We only set out 2 ferns decorated with white bows in them on two pedestals that the church provided free of charge. The church costs 400.00 for 4 hrs with the wedding night in the VIP room free of charge.
Hope I have given a little help for you . You really need to shop around and let any vendors know who is paying for it and believe me you will get some good deals. Oh I almost forgot...use this site too to find vendors at prices you may get cheaper...craigslist.org
Good Luck
Debbie

Hi, I'm happy for you & your sister. If she is interested in saving money you can buy invitations at Micheals & print your own. We scoured $$store & made the table decorations our selves.I also made bookmarks for favors on my computer & laminated them . Good Lu ck

Thank you so much for ya'lls ideas and suggestions. They have moved up the date of the wedding to Feb 2007 which is ok by me because that gives me a little more time to lose some extra weight lol.
