10th wedding anniversary gift ideas

My husband and I are celebrating our 10th anniversary this June. I have racked my brain for ideas, but have come up empty. You always hear the 10th anniversary ideas for women, but you seldom hear of ideas for men. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

Tammy

We are also celebrating 10 years in November. Have a few ideas, but would be open to more!

Have you considered DOING something exciting together instead of getting each other gifts? My suggestion is to take the amount you would have spent, and put it into an EXPERIENCE rather than an item (since their doesn't appear to be any item he's wanting anyway). Take a short trip, or spend the night in a fancy hotel near home, or go to a murder mystery dinner, or take dance lessons together - something like that. Take pictures, start an album of your anniversay adventures.

We very rarely buy gifts for each other. We've done trips like the House on the Rock here in Wisconsin, Prairie du Chein which is on the Wis/Minn/Iowa border area. Taken the Mississippi border highway on both the Minn. and Wis. sides. LaCrosse with an afternoon trip on a paddle wheel on the Mississippi. We love the Bayfield area on Lake Superior and do that at least once a year. So we do a lot of traveling with each other. I was just seeing what other people have done. Like I mentioned, I already have a couple of ideas. However, we are both in retail manangement and since our anniversary is in late November, we cannot take time off then. So we gear our trips for this ocassion for usually Oct. Just seeing what other people have done to celebrate.

We are celebrating our 10th in May!

We are going to spend a week in TN in a cozy cabin!
I can't wait! This will be our "gift".
I'm also considering renewing our vows.
I was 18 when we got married so a lot of my wedding
was really my Mom's wedding.....
Now at 28, I want a wedding the way I want it.
Just Us to let him really now how much I love him,
you know about the meaning of the union of two people
not the "ceramony" and Stuff that normally comes with weddings.

We have a beautiful baby girl (3 in April) and I thought it would
be sweet for her to be our "flower girl"

How about a day at the spa? Why not treat you and your man to a nice massage, facial and pedicure?!!!

Our tenth we went to dinner as usual. We also went to Florida to a resort with my cousin & her DH, who were celebrating their 25th! We parasailed!

How about those old fashioned pictures.

How about tickets for his favorite sporting event? That would be a treat for my DH if I got that and actually went with him.

How about a tool, men love tools?

My DH is fussy we don't exchange gifts anymore, he knows I loe food and takes me to a fancy shmancy rest every year and sometimes spend the night at a Bed & Bfast if the rest has one.

My husband has tatoos on his fingers that he really hates. He has a skinny band on right now. I am thinking about buying him a wider wedding band with an inscription put on the inside. We just celebrated our 9th and it sure is getting harder to think of gifts, so I too am trying to think of things in advance for next Decembers 10th anniversary. GOOD LUCK! I'm looking forward to hearing other ideas as well.

10th anniversary and beyond

For our 10th we went to dinner and got each other anniversary rings, which I cherish to this day. Nowadays we just enjoy being together, have made a more jointed effort over the last 7 months to do things together.

Ladies, thank you so much for the ideas and keep them coming!!

I suggested that we go somewhere just the two of us and I think he's warming up to the idea. He works for a Congressman and likes to vacation on the off election years, and this is the year!!

I had to buy him a new wedding ring last year after his became WAY too small, so that idea is out (which was my original idea to begin with!)

I'd be happy with just dinner and a movie, but I want him to know how much this means to me, so I want it to be extra special!!

Again, thanks for the ideas and keep 'em comin' !!
