Lightbulb gift search sites

Here are two sites I use to find gift ideas:

http://lovedarling.com/g/home.html?maxx=PLD0
http://presentpicker.com/ppp/home.html

The latter is my fave as it allows you to customize your search to a certain extent. I did it for my husban's birthday and it came back with something about NASA I knew he'd love.

Good Luck and Happy Anniversary.

Lightbulb

I just celebrated my 13 wedding anniversary and this is what I gave my husband. I found some older photos of me(some that I had done at a glamour shots type place) and got my old wedding bands (he gave me new ones on mothers day) and made a collage of them in a picture frame from Walmart..one with the matting for smaller photos. In the center mat I placed my wedding bands. Hope this helps

Lightbulb I hope that I'm not to late to respond to this.

Tammy; DH and I have been married 23 years March 1st. The best gift I ever shared with him was when I planned an entire weekend away. I never would tell him what my plans were. I just told him to get in and drive east. I'd gotten with a friend and burned a cd with every single favorite "couple" song since our first date and had it in a small "boom box" ready to go with fresh batteries. I also burned another CD with all of our favorite upbeat songs that we'd enjoyed since we'd dated for the trip to our destination to listen to in the car. I'd packed our suitcases with his "special" party attire which consisted of nothing more than silk boxes and a cumberbun and tie. Of course, we did have street clothes for any outings. LOL When we arrived near our destination I'd made reservations at Red Lobster, near the hotel so we stopped to eat. Once we got to the hotel I handed him a small overnight bag which contained some special bath products, reading material, candles and wine and cheese and told him to go get ready for the party. While he was in the bathroom I put the soft music on, lit more candles, set out trays of his favorite snacks, laid a chocolate rose on his pillow with more reading material to entertain him as I went to shower. I'd found the most beautiful t-length nighty that was just so soft and elegant with the matching satin heels. Needless to say we had the most wonderful and romantic night WITHOUT KIDS. We even watched the sunset and the fantastic fireworks display from our balcony as it was on a 4th July weekend when we finally got away for our trip. I did this years ago and he still talks of this special weekend together so often. We both agreed that it far exceeded our own honeymoon since we'd gone through so many of lifes experiences together and didn't have the newlywed pressures either.

I'd planned this over several months and the savings were considerable by booking the rooms in advance and such.

We tend to get so wrapped up in LIFE that we forget how to be a couple and these trips have become so important to us. It's a type of renewal and regeneration of why we became a couple in the first place.

BEST OF LUCK!
