SUEANNE

I love to get the paper in the morning while everyone is asleep. Pour my self a fresh cup of coffee and a bagel while i read the paper. Doing it early lets me have the time to do what i have to get done without wasting precious time from my day. Always find some great recipes and precious thoughts to keep me cheerful to start the day.

CRAFTING TIP AWARD

KRICKET

Renewed night stands.
This was what our guest room night stands looked like - before and after. I could hardly believe that the fronts of these old looking things were just plastic held on with wire nails. The lamp shade was the same paint deluted down with water. This is the first time I am trying to send pictures with a message - hopefully it will work. This may inspire someone also. I now love how these look and now on to redecorate the rest of the room.

Did you know that as long as you use a good sturdy cardstock you can use iron on cloth patches for card fronts?
Iron as per instructions but
1) be careful not to burn your cardstock and
2) be careful of wrinkles, make sure you are ironing on a firm flat surface.
3) I found it best to iron on to cardstock then matt then adhere to sturdy card
