Jodi, you beat me to asking the same question. I eat alot of celery in cooked dishes & some raw in mac/ potato salad. I've been fighting with my BP for years. I take meds for it, so it's pretty well under control right now.

Good for you. We don't. I only use it in my Thanksgiving stuffing, and that's it. I dont know if I could get my spouse to eat it unless there was peanut butter atop, but I dont know if even then. Looking forward to hearing "the dose". I wonder if its cooked if it carries the same benefits????

I don't think I could eat a whole cup of it a day. I don't like it that much LOL. Sometimes I will take a half a stalk & put peanut butter or cream cheese on it, but not very often. I know it's good for me, but just don't eat it that often.

The best way to keep blood pressure down is too cut down on sodium in your diet. Drinking alot of water helps keep the kidneys healthy too.
Juicing celery is an easier way to get your quota of celery. Can add tomato too for taste.

I've been cutting way down on the salt.. I know that's one problem I had. I ate too much salt. Been drinking alot of water since we started getting the bottled water. I've been doing more exercise lately too. One day I'll ride my bike through our MHP, the next day I'll walk around the lake & back. My legs hurt alot but I need to do it.
