Cinnamon Roll Poppers

  • Poppers:

    Fresh or frozen prepared bread dough, thawed if frozen
    cup granulated sugar
    cup brown sugar
    1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
    cup (1 stick) salted butter, melted
    Glaze:

    1 cup powdered sugar
    2 tablespoons milk
    2 tablespoons melted butter
    teaspoon vanilla
    Cooking instructions:

    Heat oven to 375 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
    Combine the sugars and cinnamon in a bowl. Have the melted butter ready in another bowl. Rip off a small piece of dough, about 1 tablespoon, and roll into a ball. Dip in the butter, roll in the sugar mixture and then place on the parchment-lined baking sheet. Repeat with remaining dough. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
    While the poppers bake, prepare the glaze by combining all of the ingredients in a bowl and stirring until smooth.
    Let the poppers cool at room temperature for 5 minutes and then drizzle with the glaze and serve immediately.
