Overview:
Dolphin Quest is an uplifting, educating and entertaining children’s video combining clever sea character puppets and real life underwater dolphin footage from an award-winning cinematographer. The bantering puppets come together as the “Sea Fun Explorers” aboard a fanciful submarine exploring the deep in an underwater journey. As they watch, children learn fun facts about the ocean, its creatures and its importance in our world and our environment.

Important Note:
The dolphins seen on Dolphin Quest are wild dolphins ONLY. These animals chose to interact with the film crew in the wild. Sea Fun For Kids does not support the exploitation of dolphins in captivity.

Inspiration:
Inspired by the beauty of his vast dolphin footage collection, Ken Corben decided to team with Fia Perera, an accomplished actress and comedian, to share dolphins with their greatest fans, kids.

Highlights:
Children learn the difference between spotted and spinner dolphins, how these mammals breathe, what they eat, how fast they swim and the how reefs are created. Beautiful underwater images include sea turtles, jellyfish, rays, sharks and whales swimming in their natural environments.

Cast:
Captain Pierre - Joel Hurt Jones
Captain of the Sea Fun Submarine, Captain Pierre comes from the South of France, but of course! A fearless leader, he brings the crew from Hawaii to the Bahamas in search of different types of dolphins. Even the Captain has something to learn along the way and his dry wit appeals to kids and parents alike.

Cindy the C. Monster - Fia Perera
Born and raised in the coral reefs of Kona, Hawaii,
Cindy is an adorable five-year-old C-monster.
Cindy has a sweet and soothing voice that will surely entertain young kids. A novice sea explorer, Cindy is fascinated with every encounter. She also loves to eat things that begin with the letter, "C"...especially chocolate chip cookies!

Dr Marvin the Blowfish - Erik Passoja
Dr. Marvin, resident scientist aboard the Sea Fun

Submarine, escaped from a sushi bar on 78th Street and Fifth Avenue. A swimming encyclopedia of the deep, Dr. Marvin has all the answers! He teaches kids fun facts about dolphins, oceanography, geography and much more.

Octavia, Diva of the Deep - Fia Perera
Octavia’s got attitude! A glamorous purple octopus and the Chief Engineer aboard the Sea Fun Submarine, Octavia keeps the submarine running from the control cabin…when she’s not belting out her favorite tune, ‘Diva of the Deep’.

Music:
Dolphin Quest features original music.
Renowned percussionist, Vinx, composes Diva of the Deep and Swim with the Dolphins. Eric Passoja wrote the rap, Dolphin Pod.

Puppet Makers:
James Hayes and Scott Johnson, who have also built numerous puppets for Jim Hensen Productions, created “Octavia” and “Dr. Marvin”. Ken Corben designed and co-created “Cindy the C. Monster” and “Captain Pierre” with XX (need name).

Underwater Footage:
The underwater footage seen in Dolphin Quest was shot with a Sony PD-150 camera in Gates Underwater housing off Hawaii and the Bahama banks by Ken Corben.
