All Star Team Debuts New Sports DVD Series
THE SPORTYS

Academy Award Nominated Actor Michael Clark Duncan and New York Yankees Hitting Coach Kevin Long Featured in Animated Baseball Video for Children Ages 3 – 10

NEW YORK – October 6, 2008 – The Sportys Inc., today announced the release of its first baseball-themed video in a new animated series called The Sportys. The DVD features a team of lovable animated characters being taught the game of baseball (such as strike vs. ball and fair vs. foul), teamwork and sportsmanship, from the voice of Academy Award nominated actor Michael Clark Duncan as, “Stitch” the baseball. The Sportys is available online at www.thesportys.com and can be ordered via phone at 1-800-420-7545 for $19.99.

The series will educate kids ages 3-10 about the fundamentals of baseball in an entertaining and fun way. The video quickly connects kids with the characters and their personalities, so they have a great time watching while truly learning what baseball is all about. This first DVD will be followed by additional exciting and informative videos for other sports.

“As a father, I wanted to create a sports video series that teaches the nuances of the game and gives kids more confidence and inspiration to actually get out there and play the game,” says Bobby Barad, sports attorney and creator of The Sportys, Inc. “With the help of the Sportys team, children will learn baseball’s fundamentals in a fun interactive environment, allowing them to enjoy watching sports and becoming a fan with their parents.”

As an added BONUS, The Sportys offers the entire family a tool to better their baseball experience with an additional “Coach at Home” segment featuring New York Yankees hitting coach, Kevin Long. The goal is to provide parents and care givers simple “at-home” pointers on teaching baseball skills to their children through creative, fun and effective instruction.

The new DVD was created under the direction of Bobby Barad, a highly esteemed sports attorney who represents the Yankees Robinson Cano as well as approximately 20 other MLB players. Barad is also President of The Gym Youth Program, a widely regarded youth fitness and sports specific training program in New York. A portion of the proceeds will go to the RBI Foundation to help support the continued growth of baseball in inner cities.

About The Sportys Inc.
The Sportys, Inc. was created to provide products and services to better educate youth about the basics and fundamentals of sports. The Sportys series was developed by Bobby Barad, a sports attorney and his longtime client and friend Brady Clark, a major league baseball player. Both Bobby and Brady are young fathers who were amazed at how easily kids inadvertently learned new skills while they were being entertained by enjoyable characters, songs and stories.

The impressive Sportys team also includes Kevin Long, Bernie Williams, as well as Toby Zacks of Zagwear who will house the company store. The company makes its debut DVD with The Sportys Baseball. Other projects in the plan include additional DVD’s, games and toys.

About the RBI Foundation
The RBI Foundation’s mission is to use baseball as a means to provide inner-city youth with opportunities to play, to learn and to grow, inspiring them to recognize their potential and realize their dreams.
