Do you use cash, credit or checks the most?

For me, I am a debit card fiend!

I hardly ever carry cash on me and even more rarely write checks.

Curious as to what others are mostly using now?

We use debit cards quit often. During school, we get cash for 2 weeks of grocery money. That way I can get just a few groceries without keeping track of this little amount and that little amount. It is also a good way to not overspend since I can only buy what I have the cash for.

However, for bills such as electricity, we send in checks. I know a lot of people who do online bill paying. But, when it was new, the business we had taking a monthly amount out of our account started taking the amount out earlier and earlier until they worked in an extra bill every few months. We went to the bank and they said that since we signed a paper giving them access to our account, we could not cancel it as they now have the same rights as we did with our account. So, we had to cancel our account and open a new one. I know things are way different today, but once we've been burned, we just don't want to go back and take a chance again. My sil uses the online banking system and has all her bills automatically take out the money and she has had no problems.

I am mostly cash for everyday purchases but that is because I get paid in cash mostly so always have cash on me. Most of my bills are paid automatically through my accounts so I don't have to worry about them. I use checks only when I have a bill or invoice to pay through the mail.

I find myself using my debit card for just about everything. I rarely carry cash. I used to be a check writer but now I think it is so much easier using my debit card.

I love my debit card. I use it 90% of the time. It is so easy for me at least.

I am all for debit and credit cards. Use my debit card the most, credit card at times, and cash not much. Always like to have some cash as there are times when I need it, but it is so much easier swiping that plastic! We rarely write a cheque, they are surrounded by too many fees for my liking.

I use my debit card most of the time. I usually have very little cash (if I do one of the dks has their hand out for some). I am paying some bills online, but still have to send a few checks for some monthly bills. I sure don't use many checks anymore.

I like to use my debit card for most purchases. But, still carry some cash to have for things that don't accept cards or to give the kids. And I usually get small bills, that way when I need to give the kids money I don't have to give them a $10, or $20 and know I'm not getting back the change. Most of my bills I pay by phone using my debit card as it's also a credit card too.

We try to put everything on our credit cards to earn the points, then at the end of the month we pay them off using online banking.
