Hi I'd love to meet other moms of large families!

Greetings,
I introduced myself in the intro section, but saw this and was like wow, a place for big families!

I love having a large family. There is never a dull moment! Has anyone here had all their children leave home yet? I was wondering how that was after all the time of having so many and going down to few or none...

Any responses would be great!

Hi -I have 3 girls and 1 boy. They do keep you busy huh? My 2 middle girls have ADHD and they are a handfull, but I can tell you I never can say I am bored!!lol. I think I will get too bored when they all grow up!! Hope they never do(sometimes)

I have the opposite, 3 boys and 1 girl. One of mine has ADD as well, my oldest son. He is a real challenge in school!

I like having a big family. Makes it more expensive for EVERYTHING: renting a car, flying, going to dinner... and it makes it hard with after school activities, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

About a year ago I had the urge to start having more kids. Must have been a midlife crisis! I'm over it now LOL and plan to enjoy the years that I have left with them at home

Hi Amanda,

I was excited to see you had posted so recently so decided to wander in and say a hello.

I have three teenage boys living here fulltime. My son and stepson are 17(stepson is 17, son will be in June) and my younger son is 13. They are turning my hair white but I love 'em. lol

I bet you're glad that you got over wanting another baby before you were successful at it. lol Whew. I don't think I could do it again, although I'd like a chance to do it better.

Anyway, good to see you again. I have DSL now so I can handle familycorner again. I'm so glad. I still just love it.

Gee that's an understatement! LOL I am definitely learning to enjoy the ages they are at now!
