There is almost 14 years between my oldest and youngest. I have 4 ages 25, 20, 18, and 11. My granddaughter is 6, so there is only 5 years between my youngest son and my granddaughter. He was an Uncle when he was 5. When I take them places together I get questioning looks when she calls him Uncle Robby.

My kids are girl, boy, girl, boy. I really like having them spread out in age. The older ones were help with the others.

I am done though. no more.

We didn't plan how our kids are spaced or there would have been a little more time between the oldest and #2 and the same with #3 and #4. Currently they are 13.5, 11.5, 7 and 5.

However, it was all God's timing and I LOVE it now!

Hi, my dh and I had 1 dd and were told that we would not have any more. When our dd was 14 we were blessed with our second dd. We are the proud parents of a 25 year old dd, who is the mom to our darling 2 year old granddaughter and our 10 year old who will be in the 5th grade in September. It is sometimes hard on allof us as my dh is 51 and I am 50 but wouldn't trade either of my girls for anything.

Age gap

I also had 4 children their age is now 52, 50, 40 and 38. No planning just happened like that. I found it very confusing with high school, one graduating and next set just starting first grade. It took me 35 years to get to the empty nest syndrom, then the grandchildren came along.

age

There is almost a 15 year difference between me and my brother, a 12 year. diff. between me and my sister and 8 yrs. between my closest sister. It is a blessing and a curse sometimes. They see me more as a mother figure rather than a sister. Although my mom was a wonderful mom, this role still persists. At least I feel that I am there for them to talk about things that they usually would not with a parent (relationships w/other people their age, personal problems they are having, etc). Sometimes I wish that I had a sibling in the same age bracket as me, but I know that things are this way because they are meant to be. We still can get together and laugh just the way any siblings would....not matter the age.

I have three children one is 24 the next is 22 and a 15 year old. The oldest two are girls and the last is a boy this makes the gap seem larger because the boy is totally different from the girls. And my sister in law has a gape from girls at 24 and 18 to a boy at age 1. That is a pretty wide gap but she is doing good and the 18 year old will be leaving for college in the fall so she will only have the boy at home. Have a good day.

I have 4 boys - 18, 15, 10 & 7 - I'm really thankful for all my boys but am really thankful that they aren't all going to be teenagers at the same time LOL!!! :p - When my oldest left for the prom this year, I felt so sad - Happy for him but sad for myself because it won't be long until he's off on his own life....I was/am so thankful for my 2 younger ones that help ease the empty nest syndrome - We are really blessed.

I couldn't get pregnant until we were married almost 5 years.
I had a miscarriage when she was not quite a year old, but her sister came along shortly before she turned 3. I thought I was done and finished. I have such a hard time getting, then staying pregnant, it causes stress and worry on DH. When #2 was almost 6, we found out I was pregnant with #3 (who turned out to be a boy). I almost lost him twice in the early stages of pregnancy, so that is why I think my children are my gems, my jewels, plus their first initials all spell out to be jems.
They are now, 20, 17 and 11.
