Happy face New to this forum

I am a married sahm to 3 kids. Their ages are 12, 7, and 9 mos.. I have pretty big age gaps, eh. My 7 year old, who is almost 8 has autism. He is a great guy though and a lot of fun. There are many challenges but I learn so much from him. We celebrate the small stuff. I didn't know how he would take to the new baby but he is warming up to her more with time. My oldest loves her brother and sister. She is a huge help with the baby. All and all I am very happy but some days I get overwhelmed and want to pull my hair out. If you get bored, you can check out my blog at

BTW, my dh drives a school vehicle for special needs students, and has an autistic boy who he has driven for four years now. He is 20 yrs. old and one of t he nicest kids my dh has ever met. He is non verbal, but has a speech board. He is a big farm boy, good looking, and with such a good personality, has many friends.

Hi Bobbi, I am Diana (Chadsmom) here on FC. I also have children spaced apart... Loved your blog, I need to get on the ball and decorate and get mine going but time has been so hard to come by for me... I am a single Mom, twice married, and my last husband passed away when our son was 10. I have three daughters, oldest one will be 36 in two weeks, one 29 and one 27 - soon to be 28, and my son just turned 16 in August. I am also an ex California girl I went to elementary school and Jr. high in Newport Beach, and we moved to Huntington Beach in my 8th grade year so went to high school there. We as kids grew up around several Autistic children as my dear Grandmother cared for them. My fondest memory was a little girl named Jill who she had for years in her home. She was so much fun to be around, and so smart! She was not really very verbal, but still knew very much what we were talking about and I understand when you say that you learn so much from Parker. All of your children are just beautiful and glad to see you here, and back again!
To dream of the person you would like to be is to waste the person you are.
