I have 4 children. My kids for the most part are petty good with this. Now that they are older we don't see it much at all.

We had some issues with the oldest son there is a 6 yr age gap to the next child. Then the other 3 are only 4 yrs apart. But he realized quickly he didn't have to share as much stuff as the other 3 because he was by himself. The other 3 are so close in age they have had to share rooms, cars, etc.

My older 2 are very competitive, always have been. I’m not sure why but my 2nd dd has always tried to catch up with or beat her big sis. We have tried to discourage this but it has not helped. They are very close but it seems to be their personalities. My 3rd dd is 5 years younger and completely different, she is too laid back sometimes
