As a rule we stay in town and do something at home occasionally some family and friends will gather here or at one of their homes but rarely do we travel.

Happy Mothers Day all and God bless
I will take what I am served knowing someone out there is being served MUCH less

It really depends on what's going on. This year I've been invited to go out of town with friends so that should be nice.

Usually we are in town for the kids have school events (yes, marching band, ballet performances) and grandpa has a birthday.

I am glad because the traffic scares me that time of year!

When we lived in Pa., there were years when we would go to my brother's house for a cookout. Most of the time though we just stayed home.

This year will be something different though because we are moving that weekend! My husband actually starts his job on the 29th.

I normally go by the cementary to put out the flags & memorials for my dad & his best friend who is right beside him. They served in the military together & then later in their lives found each other & traveled w/wives as well as attended church together. Then dh & I would go away for a little couples weekend, but this year we are on "BABY WATCH" my ydd who lives with us is due anytime so..........We will just stay put, & probably go to the beach & grill out, hmm alot like Mother's Day.

We always head down to the lake for the "opening" of the lake house. My Mom, db and his family and ours all head down. Other relatives have come down too but not every year.

We have gone out of town in the past, but this year we will be setting up our tent in the backyard, and having a couple of ds1 friends spen the night! It should be fun! That is if it ever dries up outside.
