Sharon, I really love the idea of a prayer time set aside for Donna-Maria

Theresa, that poem is beautiful and so fitting.

Sharon I agree also that it's a lovely idea to remember her in our own way. Let me know when and I will also participate.

Theresa I love your poem. I think DM would too.

I don't know what DM's wishes were. Or if it's the family's wishes to do nothing. [no service] But again I think it's a lovely idea that we all set aside a time and pray for her.

Theresa, that is a beautiful poem.

I will wait a couple of days so more people can see the suggestion to have a prayer time for DM.
Would 5PM Mon. March 21 work for everyone?

Yes, please do count me in, too.

I got to know DM best wehn MArk had his stroke and she would call and check on me. I wouldn't pick up cuz I never do. she knew I hated the phone and I can still hear her messaged left on the phone in that old drawl of hers...........Dawwwnaaaaaaaaa MArrriee, this is the other Dawnnnaaaa MArrie from Boothbay Hahhhhhhhhhhhhhhbooooooouh" and you better calll me back, you hear..........!!! You dont wannt to make me come out there she said one time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Never knew anyone who could make my name of Donna into 4 or 5 sylabbles!!!
I did call her back and we talked several times during Marks sickness, she reassuring me Mark would be OK and, bless her heart, she was right.

I probably laughed at her more than talked because, quite honestly, everything she said, with that old accent of hers, cracked me up!! She would tell me about getting her car out in the snow but with her talking it was a "cahhh" and I would say, what are you talkinjg about and she would say, my cahhhh, my cahhh, that you drive, honey and I would say, OH, you mean a CAR and she would say, you crazy California [eople cant talk right, whats a Caaaar and on and on.....Even told me once that I had the accent, not her!!
I miss joking with DM thru emails. Thats how we mostly communicated in the past few years as she really understood my hatred of the phone.

I just cant beleive she is gone.
Felicia, I am so grateful for you and the place you filled a void in her life. Thank you for being that daughter she so needed. You too are an angel.

We cant worry about how she went. As Felicia said, there has been nothing in the paper. The lady who originally emailed me (Thru FAcebook) has not responded to my request for more details. BArbar has messaged her as well.
We all just have to beleive she had a heart attack and was att the ocean when it happened.

Oh, DM I love you always.

Love and hugs from the other DM

Donna (train) We New Englanders do not pronounce our R's Car would be Cah, Water would be Watah etc. I have worked hard to get rid of my Maine accent but my dks say when I go home to Maine it comes right back the minute I start talking with my brothers LOL

Sharon, 5pm Monday works fine for me. And this may be a funny question but do we adjust the time for Eastern, Central and Western time? (did I say that right?)
