Thumbs up Haley's grandmom's Yankee Pot Roast

My family loves this and if ( whihch there never is) there are leftovers it's great in a beef stew
Yankee Pot Roast
2 1/2 pounds of chuck(2"pcs.)
2 oz. chopped celery
4 oz. cut up carrots
8 oz. tomato purree
8oz. beef stock
1/8 tsp. allspice
flour to thicken.
Roll your beef in flour salt and pepper till coated. Place in a dutch oven with a little oil and cook until browned. Add your celery, carrots, tomato purree, beef stock and allspice. Cook on low heat until the meat is so tender it falls apart. You can also due this in an oven. 325* until the meat falls apart.

Seleach gave Haley's grandmom a blue ribbon for her Yankee Pot Roast.

I made this on the kitchen range. I think it could be made in a crockpot. Since I will be making this again I really think I will try the crockpot next time.
We did enjoy this. It is good and it is easy to make.
