"Hamburger Noodle Tomato Stuff"

My mom used to make this and now its a favorite at my house too. For lack of a better name we always called it "hamburger noodle tomato stuff"

Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
2 - 28 oz cans whole peeled tomotoes
1 bag egg noodles (any size noodle, I prefer extra wide)
1 brick extra sharp cheese (Sliced)

Instructions
Brown ground beef in large skillet. Drain excess fat. Add both cans of tomatoes, juice and all. Use a spatula to chop up the tomatoes into smaller chunks. Add about 1 cup water and bring to a simmer. Add the bag of egg noodles (uncooked) and cover. Stir occasionally and cook until the noodles are done. Cover the top with the sliced cheese and cover until the cheese is melted.

Variation
Subsitute Italian sausage for the beef and mozzarella for the cheddar cheese

It has been months since I have been to visit this site, I've missed it! There are tons of new things! I have lots of catching up to do.

This recipe sounds easy and great. I have a feeling my kids will love it. Thanks and I will try to get this made this weekend.
